Propolis

Propolis is a resinous substance produced by bees. These resins are collected from the buds and barks of plants and then further processed with the addition of wax, pollen and enzymes produced by the bees themselves. The bees use it to coat the inside walls of the hive in the areas intended for laying eggs and rearing larvae to create a disinfected and protected environment. Propolis has an antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal effect. It also promotes tissue regeneration and has a healing effect.

Tea tree

Tea tree essential oil has antibacterial, healing, antifungal and odour-inhibiting properties: For this reason, it is used in aromatherapy, natural cosmetics and cleaning.

How to use

PHASE 1 - THE BODY

Check the water temperature and dilute the shampoo with water in a separate bowl. Wet the dog evenly with the shower attachment on the skin. Moisten the sponge in the bowl with the shampoo and massage it in thoroughly (for long-haired dogs, go over the same area several times). Start at the withers and then move on to the legs, chest and hindquarters, always massaging gently but thoroughly. Do not forget the spaces between the fingers and the sensitive areas. Rinse the animal thoroughly from top to bottom using the shower attachment.

PHASE 2 - HEAD AND MUZZLE

Be careful! The water jet must be weak and light. Lather the animal with the sponge and massage it with your hands. Start at the back of the neck and work your way up, then cover the eyes to protect the dog from the soap. Rinse well to remove all traces of the shampoo.

The vet's advice

Washing should be a petting session for your dog. Try to calm him down by stroking and cuddling him. Once the dog has calmed down, you can start the procedure.
